Hi I've Got A 2002 Ford Focus St170 Was All Running Fine But Last Night I Changed The Battery

I changed the battery as the one that was on it was not powerful enough so I bought a second hand battery off a diesel car and put that on now since I've put that battery the engine management light is on and it's misfiring anyone know what's wrong ??

    Hi yea I've put original battery back but eml is still on but car is slightly running rough so if I needed a set of spark plugs would that cause the eml to stay on ?

    Could be the coil pack or plugs. Wouldn't expect a battery to cause a misfire. Double check wire and connections near the battery were not knocked loose.
