I'm in need of replacing my drop links on the front of my focus and need to know if I need to grease tge joints up previous to installing? The replacement I have got does not look like there is any grease in the joints and the move freely.

Would a local garage grease these up for me?

those drop links should come greased up, you cant grease the joints in modern cars as there's no grease fitting unless you open the rubber boots

It just looks a bit flat and not full of grease if you know what I mean.

Do they look like that normally?

I knew I should of moved my colouring picture. Lol.

I was looking and unless I take the bronze ring off and pull the boots back there is no way to fill them. I'll just try them. If there's no grease then they will knock still. Then I'll just go to ford.

Look pretty normal to me. They are already greased up, they only have a bit of white grease on anyway. Whack them on
