Cool, I'll wait to hear what Clarky thinks of them and get the WhiteVisions ordered if all's good. The main thing I want to know is do they match the colour temp of the DRLs?

The crystal visions are perfect match for the drl?

  • I wouldnt go above 4300k, purely because 4300k xenon's are what audi, bmw etc use so they look oem, higher like 6k would look blue and crap imo. Dave, best setup and I think most people would agree,

  • Simple. Osram night breakers H1 and H7 for the legal option. sorted Or HIDs for the not so legal option

  • +1 in what tom said :P

Yeah the colour is the same it's just the white visions are meant to be brighter with a longer beam, worth a shot, if they are bad ill put my crystals back in and white visions on ebay lol

I've just ordered some whitevisions hope they work out ok for the price of them.

I do country roads early mornings so could do with better vision.

Shame Ford didn't fit xenons ,about the only thing i miss from my old clio197.

yeahh sounds like a good idea to me be good to get an allround view on the diffrent bulbs and what they look like :D

Cheers Adam, that's all the persuasion I need. I just ordered a pair of WhiteVisions from Power Bulbs with the discount, plus a pair of NightBreaker H11s. This is getting expensive lol :)

Edit: I'll try and compare one side with the WhiteVisions with other other side Osram Cool Blues that I have at the moment, should be a bit whiter.

haha glade to hear it ;) yeah i no what you mean who knew that changing the bulbs in your car could take such a chunk out your bank account be good to see all the comparison pics when there up to see the ddifferencesin all these bulbs :)

Just turned up, will try and fit them tonight :P

Normal ones are ok to remove, just gotta use a bit of force, once sprayed they are prone to cracking, easiest way to do it is to remove both headlights and then reach down and push the tabs up gently, then the surround will just slide out, in theory lol :P

Just fitted my white visions will see what they are like in the morning hopefully better than standard.

So whitevision then, not a patch on crystal visions. The white visions are yellow ( same as nightbreaker unlimiteds) aren't that much brighter than standard, I'd say same brightness as crystal visions and white visions dont have a longer beam. Very disappointed, I'm only keeping mine as a spare until a crystal goes and needs a temp replacement. I'd rate nightbreaker Unlimiteds way better than whitevision, 2 pictures below to show the colour difference between crystal and white visions. The white visions are an upgrade from standard and are better than standard, but nightbreakers are much better if your not after the white light. If your after the perfect white oem xenon colour , without HID - crystals are the way forward for now.

Ahh brilliant well them white visions seem a massive con I have to say they are not anywhere near 4300k colour

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Hmm that's disappointing, I've already ordered them so will try them out, if not happy I'll get some CrystalVisions ordered, road legal or not. If my "White" Visions are as yellow as those photos I'll be getting my money back :P

Or maybe I should just return them without opening them, but I'll be tempted to try them. I did have my suspicions, I mean first why are they road legal when they supposedly have the same colour temp as the CrystalVisions, and second look at the coating, it's not as blue as the CrystalVisions so I was thinking they can't be as white.

Edit:

Just fitted my white visions will see what they are like in the morning hopefully better than standard.

Make sure you post some pics here and give us your opinions please Phil. So far we have one person saying they are ok and a good match for the DRLs, and one saying they're rubbish.

Yeah it's a shame, I was looking forward to finally having all my exterior bulbs the way I want them. But I've already started on the road to car modifying and I probably won't be able to stop :)

  • Author

These Arnt modifications really Phil modifications are proper changes like power mods and suspension and exhaust etc not just changing bulbs i wouldn't worry bulbs just cosmetic changes

I had a look at the white visions after seeing them in this thread and have to say I'm a little disappointed in the photos! They're pretty expensive too... Probably just got for crystals and night breakers for mains like the rest:)
