Zs 1.0 Sound With Cold Air Induction Kit ?

I'd like to improve the sound on my ZS 1.0 - primarily the sound I hear inside the cabin, I care less about the outside sound.

So I'm figuring the most efficient/cheap way is to get a cold air induction kit.

Does anyone have a before/after sound comparison from inside the cabin ?

Also can you recommend a kit ?

Well I would presume it would be very similar to the 1.6's difference as it is basically the same engine just smaller. With a turbo car you will hear the turbo whistling up more and a louder hissing/wooshing sort of sound. And then when you change gears the recirculater valve will be noticeably louder.

the best air intake i use to use for my focus was a RIPSPEED Universal Air Induction System, Its cheaper then the high branded systems but use the same componants and as a green cotten on but with would the coloured filter.

you can get them off eBay for less then $50 USD(40 euros)

hope that helps

How would you fit one of those as the maf is mounted in the top of the air filter box on these cars.

Don't think you can but the mountune one is £300 expensive

but there's another one that's £190 http://www.autospecialists.co.uk/AS-Performance-10-Eco-Boost-100ps-and-125ps---free-flowing-induction-kit-Product-1245.html

Both have the area for sensor

And cheaper ones on pumaspeed at £146

The last one a think holds the sensor but double check all quite expensive but it's mostly to hold the sensor is the issue
