2007 Focus Estate 1.6Ti Rattling Noise

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Have a 2007 focus estate 1.6ti style ex mobility - 28500 miles

Had the car in for service and mot and both front wheel bearings changed, Garage are good never any problems, since I got it back there is a rattling noise from rear to centre of the car, sounds like a light metal clinking off of something, happens on speedbumps or poor roads most of the time,

The garage have had it up on the ramp spent a good 2 hrs (no Charge) and cant find anything, that's without taking the car apart. I thought it was heat shield so they took the shield off up to the front of the car and the noise is still there! Any ideas that they might have over looked.

Also on the front left wheel since the bearing was changed at between 0mph - 30mph driving straight or turning right there is like a hollow whinning/squelling noise and again cannot see anything, any ideas!

Thanks in advance :)
