Would These Work In The Fiesta?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just noticed these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00E3R8OWC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=36UE0XW9GT3B0&coliid=I3LQP00E0E7YIE

They are down as interior bulbs, but I've used interior (like) bulbs as my sidelights before and they still worked. They are still W5W but its just the 24V that is worrying me.

If not, is there any other alternatives, that have a HID/purple/blueish colour that are bright. The one I have at the moment are bright and purpleish but they start flickering after a month.

Cheers.

These lights are amazing the longer one I put in my boot the shorter ones a put in my map lights and registration lights ( also fit courtesy) aswell also have blue ones for footwells and courtesy lights and look amazing but first the two links for they ones white ones (short and long) btw VERY BRIGHT

Hi James,

Thanks for that, although the ones you put the links for on Ebay are the ones I typically buy!

The third link, I already have red ones for my footwells! I bought some white ones but they aren't what I wanted (sucks to be picky)

I'll try and get a picture of what my interior and sidelights are colourwise and brightness at the moment, Think i'll speak to Matthew (wardenjp) as I've bought quite a few of his lights from his site and eBay and they are all still working great. See if he can some sort of purple-ish LED's (he already does Xenon white but they don't hit the spot)

Any idea of the Osram ones though?

Osram for headlights?

These are the closest you will get to a nice shad and performance but still being road legal etc

I've just ordered them

I've already sorted all my other lights, I've got Phillips Diamonvision, just questioning these sidelights and whether or not they will work! - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00E3R8OWC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=36UE0XW9GT3B0&coliid=I3LQP00E0E7YIE

They arrived and double checked they were the premium ones and all was good. Same as any other side bulb fitting they were fine.

Here's a comparison of my old bulbs and the new osram bulbs:

(On my phone so had to find an app to cover the numberplate..)

They are great and extremely bright, they have made my dipped beams seem yellow now.. Technically speaking they aren't for exterior use.

Didn't know they came in 6800k so I've ordered a pair of those, can find them on eBay or amazon. These are a bit more expensive than normal LED's though!

The 6800k are extremely different from the 6000k - they are more blue than white...

Put these back in the pack for another day :') the opposite of what I wanted.

Either way the 6000k are great, same colour as the Ebay LED's but more brighter and will definitely last longer.

I like the idea of changing my footwell lights from plain to maybe a red. Might look into that one day
