Hi, I have noticed when Iam stationary, at traffic lights for example, with the handbrake on, clutch fully down and in first gear that the revs appear to start dropping out. Most times this is not an issue, but this morning the car cut out twice in this situation, can anyone please advise? Iam a new driver and this is my first car, so have no experience around these type of things, thanks in advance

I don't know what the problem would be, but have you tried giving it a little bit of throttle just to keep the revs up, maybe that will stop it from stalling until you can get it fixed. You wouldn't need much throttle, maybe just around 1500 rpm as if you were about to set off.
