Yes, it had to happen and I was half expecting it when I saw the nice shiny caps on the car, however its so annoying at the same time. What shows how thick they must be, they have only taken 3 ...so must be one a 3 wheeler somewhere!

I've ordered some lockable caps from ebay, but just wondering if these will work the the TPS system? If not, does anyone know any lockable caps that do? Im guessing Ford will have a nice price on each of those caps if I was to order 3 or the originals?

When I picked mine up on monday it was missing one cap, must be some !Removed! with a unicycle

The salesman went and got a new one from the parts dept, he was really apologetic even though not his fault.

On my old ST2 they were standard black plastic on a rubber valve so was surprised to see metal caps and valve on the new one. They look smarter but will attract the wrong attention.

We've got one at work, she nicks anything you leave on your desk

Had similar a few years back.

Had a set of 8 Ball caps free with a magazine.

Had them fitted for about 6 months when one morning I came out to find them gone.

5 cars down was a scrap heap corsa with them fitted as bold as brass.

Suffice to say they soon came back into my possession (and yes they were mine as he had manky plastic ones on the night before).

Still have them at home but never reused them as I didn't want to risk cross-contamination from his heap.

They probably doubled the value of his car

So they can stay on until I get my lockable ones. I did see a reliant robin today in the local area looking quite smart ...I thought maybe that is the culprit :)
