Went for a drive after i picked her up and i must say i am very impressed with it.

I shall be taking it steady for a bit to get some miles on it,i can't wait to see how it goes when you give it some ;) boost

I was the same when I got mine, tried to take it easy for the first 1000 miles but it wasn't easy. This car just likes to go fast

I've never had a brand spanker before is there any need to run in?

Do i need to put a "running in please pass" sticker on the back? :)

I never did, dealer told me everything is good to go, just don't red line it for a few hundred miles it will be fine.

Others on here will tell you to run it in but others will tell you the engine is stronger if it's driven hard. I've never had any problems with mine and after all they teat the engines before leaving the factory nowadays it's not like back in the day anymore.

Okey dokey cheers for that ,so much conflicting views but thats basically what my dealer said.

If anything blows up it would be covered under warranty anyway "I was only doing 30mph Mr Dealer honest" haha

Run it in which ever way you think best, aslong as you at least do what it says in the handbook you will be fine.

Make sure she is warm then go for it !

Seriously I think as long as you don't red line it you should be fine, you've got to stick to speed limits anyway

A lot of locals slate them but i've found them nothing more than helpful, they have looked after me well over the years.

Mind you a lot of people slate dealers but there are gooduns.

I was in there earlier and they said another blue one had gone out, i don't have an issue with their service or parts dept their sales I do though. I can recommend them for any Mountune parts though although not the cheapest,they are on your doorstep.

I'm in the station end of town from your pictures looks a bit like F/V. Will probably see you around along with the other 4\5 blue ones that I see.

Mines got yellow ST badges and grey Mountune stripes in case you see it about, give a flash/wave. If you need any help with it give me a shout.

Looks good mate! It is a lovely colour but round where I live its the only colour I've seen anyone in.

Lol even if you did need to allow people to pass on the motorway, it's only doing 2,750 rpm at 70 in 6th, so even when some people say keep it under 3000 rpm for a while that wouldn't be a problem :).
