Roof Grab Handles In Mk 7.5 Fiesta

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy a new 1.0 Ecoboost but I noticed in the dealers showroom that there are no roof grab handles. I need them for the passenger side for a disabled member of the family who needs the grab handles to get in and out of the car. Has anyone added them to their new car ?.

The dealer is going to contact Ford to see if it is possible but I wondered if anyone on here has already done this.

I think most of the fiesta range have curtain airbags which are located where the handle would normally be, this is the case in the ST anyway.

They might be able to fit a handle to the top the A pillar, or remove the airbag but there might not be any fixing points for it like on a car where they are standard fit.

A mobility specialist dealer might know more though.

Thanks Mark, that makes sense. I might have to look at a low-mileage 2011 Zetec S instead..............
