Cheers mate for the details ano I can be bad for going into too much detail lol but thanks have to wait and do this after I've did a few mods lol

It's a good thing, I thought I'd return the favour :D

You always have to think about how much your car is worth and that it is nice to keep it in the condition you bought it (or even better) with just a few pounds.

This is my car after a 29h detail 2 months ago (I am a beginner so it took a "little" longer)

Time well spent :) I'll post what I do for my top up detail this evening too...

29h detail? Surely that's not 29hour aha!

Does look great though, what did you use?

Do it bud you won't regret it!

I didn't even look after my old one nowhere near as much as this one, but when I took it to trade it in it felt nice when they said how good of a condition it was in :)

I have a show it off on a german detailingforum Link

The pics are not that good because I'm just not good at doing them but at the beginning there is a list of what I used.

29 hours is because of the polishing and the heat. It was something about 36 degrees, really hot.

PS: What does 29h mean in britain?

Will take a look.

Oh so you stopped because of the heat? Not that you were actually detailing non stop for 29hours?

Same thing as you I guess 29h = 29 hours :)

No, I didn't stop I was just slow because of the heat. But the 29 hours were done in 3 days so not nonstop. Just summarized the workingtime from the 3 days and came out to 29 hours. The result was worth it :)

I see you snowfoam too. That always looks like so much fun but I don't have a pressure washer aha! What do you use on your wheels?

I used Valet Pro Bilberry on my wheels. Maybe you noticed that I don't have a pressure washer too, but I have a Gloria FM10. A Month ago I started using it with DoDo Juice Apple iFoam and the foam is even better than on the pictures. I only need 10ml on 1l warm water ;)

Going to give the car a good wash and wax this afternoon! I'll post some pics when I'm done

Just a few pics after a wash and wax today.

The products I used were

Dodo juice shampoo

Sonax wheel cleaner

Dodo juice hard candy wax

Chemical guys wheel sealant

Oh and got a free sticker in my latest box of goodies from clean your car, matches the cars colour quite well aha.

Thinking of getting some new pads for my dad's polisher and giving that a go rather than buffing by hand to see if it makes much difference

It makes an significant difference if you polish by hand or by machine, btw I like the hard candy finish it just looks so glossy on your color

-awesome-

That's it new pads are getting bought then haha. Thanks :) looks really good in the sun and darker/richer in colour

I'm not a lover of the machines prefer to do by hand but I have seen good things using them :)

I'll have to use my tape to mask off the plastics if I use a machine wheel, by hand I'm careful and don't get any on the plastics
