Fiesta 1.25 Zetec Se 2002 Freestyle Cutting Out

Featured Replies

Hi I'm a newbie and I tried to search but couldn't find anything so I hope you can help me I've got a fiesta as above it's the last of the mark fours I believe I'm having trouble with it intermittently cutting out at junctions when you are braking and coming to a stop as soon as you depress the clutch occasionally it will cut out the engine will restart immediately with no problems at all it can be fine for days and then maybe cut out at every junction four or five times in a row. To try to cure this fault it's had a diagnostic chck which reveled no codes and all live data was said to be ok. I've renewed the idle valve. Coolant sensor. All vacuum pipes and breather pipes. Full service including new fuel filter it's also recently had a new timing belt kit and water pump and the valve timings been double checked and is spot on. I'm at a loss as to what to do next any help is really appreciated by the way it's done 61000 miles from new and the engine is running on 5/30 semi synthetic oil.
