What Would Happen If..

When fitting a new 'o' ring seal on the injector leak off pipe, i managed to loose the r clip for the small black connector. Anyway, i can't fit a new one as there's wires and pipes all over, i've tried, but lost the new clip also!... So, what would happen if i unplug the following? I wouldn't loose the injector codes and have to reprogram would i?

Its very tricky to reinstall those clips, best way is to get some small long nose pliers and line it up behind the injectors (between injector and rocker cover),

and use a flat head screwdriver to push them in

as for the grey connector that is the camshaft sensor I believe, and its fine to unplug. Just make sure its plugged back in before you start the engine

The 1.8 tdci does not require re-coding for the injectors, even if you replace them.
