Mk1 Ford Focus Rear Fog Light Not Working

Hi all,

I have a 2000 ford focus which has failed the mot on the rear fog light, this is the model which is also the reversing light.

the reversing light works fine, I have checked and replaced the following.

Checked fuse number 44 underneath the glove compartment (20amp) This ok

replaced the bulb

replaced the bulb holder

Front foglights work fine and the switch illuminate s when switched on, but still no joy

Could it be the switch itself? Has anyone else had this issue, help greatly appreciated
