H-Fiesta
I purchased this ariel for my new pre-facelift fiesta; where the sound quality was described as 'crystal clear' whereas it was most probably mis-spelt for complete crap. The ariel does not receive any signal, has anyone else experienced the same issue? Regards, H
Stoney871
I bought one for my mk1 Focus when I had it. The aerial stsyed on for about an hour before it went in the bin. Car aerials are frequency matched, as in that the aerial is a particular length to match the frequency it is designed to receive. Short arrials look good but unless you're in a very strong signal area are a waste of effort.

CookieM
Looks much better than standard aerial but terrible signal. Good job I barely listen to the radio!

scousa
On my old car I fitted a signal booster that attached to the back of the head unit, worked brilliantly
H-Fiesta
Where are the signal boosters sold? and would it be suitable to install on a standard ford radio?
scousa
Just bought from eBay or Halfords. From memory you just pull your aerial and plug into the back of the booster then plug the booster in the back of the head unit and connect the power cable of the booster upto the 12v supply
