First Road Trip

Featured Replies

Well having had the new car for a couple of weeks now i thought i would take it on a road trip to watch The Mighty GILLS !! at Oldham FC at the weekend. 500ish mile round trip with 3 in the car. The car performed effortlessly, kept it at steady 65-70 most the way and averaged 52 mpg which i was pleased with considering still less than 800 on the clock. My only disappointment was how uncomfortable the seats became on that journey. Even one of my travelling companions admitted to back ache after a while. These are the partial leather sports seats standard on the Titanium X models. I am disappointed as i had read reports of how comfortable these seats were meant to be on longer journeys. Still never mind, stuck with them now and on a positive note Gills played awful but still got away with a point :)

I recently travelled down to Fowey in Cornwall and got 57mpg @ a steady 70, so was chuffed at that.
The seats dont give me much side to side wriggle room which is ok if you like supportive seats.
I'm used to larger cars which have wider seats and I do tend to move around a lot on a long journey.
