Whining, Whirring Noise

Hi guys :-) I have, recently, acquired a 2010 Fiesta 1.4 tdci Studio and was wondering whether you could help me. It has a whining, whirring noise coming from driver's side of the engine bay which starts after, about, 5 miles of driving.

    Hello and welcome.

    The noise will be most likely coming from the belt area. You will need to check all the pulleys/bearings to try and find out which one it is

    Thanks for your reply :-) the fault's have diagnosed as water pump and cambelt. Luckily, for us, have only had it a couple of days and work is covered by the warranty YAY !
