Usb Playback

Featured Replies

Hi all

Recently upgraded from a 2001 mk1 to a 2009 mk2.5

It came fitted with bluetooth and voice control and a ford 6000 Cd.

My question is this:

I want usb/mp3 playback and am considering changing the Hu, what options do I have without losing the bluetooth option?

Many thanks in advance for any help, advice offered.

We've been talking about this on http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/61550-focus-in-car-entertainment-gadgets/

I'll know for sure about HU in a week or so, most f them continue to use Bluetooth so wouldn't worry too much about that

Thanks Deep_82

Was thinking more of a oem unit- maybe the non-dab sony one.

Ford do their 'Jukebox' module that plugs in between the radio and loom.

It takes memory sticks only though.

I fitted one to my car and use it most of the time.

You have track and folder skip functionality with the steering remote.

As I don't have oem bluetooth the phone buttons on the radio pause the tracks, on your system the bluetooth will pause your music when using the phone.
