Hi all, firstly apologies if this is the wrong section for this.

I have a 59 plate focus, and need to replace my rear driver side indicator bulb holder, no new bulbs work in it, and I have noticed the inside where the bulb screws in is rusty and a piece of the metal has snapped off.

I have contacted Ford directly to get see how much a replacement is, and they only sell the holders as a single, however looking at the setup the holders cannot be removed so both would need changing? Having searched the internet havent really found any help, and every site that sells parts also sells them as a single item.

Any help would be appreciated.

The light loom comes as a complete unit, the holders are integral to the wiring.

Yes that looks like the ones on my car, the bottom is ok though, its just the indicator one. Is there anyway I can change this as the single part is only a couple of quid compared to almost £30 for the whole set.

I'll have a look on Microcat later for you to see if the holder can be sourced seperately.

Ford don't show the looms seperately.

I think they just sell the whole light and wiring as one part.

When I phoned them, I asked this and they said they only sell the individual holders but I dont know how to remove just one as the cables seem to be stuck to the actual holder. I think inc VAT it was around £12-£13 from FORD directly but there are cheaper ones on the internet.

I do have a warranty with FORD, not sure if this would come under it though.

It should be covered.

I think they seal the connectors with resin so once unclipped should wiggle apart with a bit of patience.
