Mk6 Fiesta Aftermarket Headunits

Featured Replies

Ive just got my new zetec s mk6 but i'm after a double din unit to be able to hook my ipod up.

I have the aux connection but ipod doesnt charge on it :(

any suggestions? pics?

cheers

Tom

Do you mean aux as in audio jack?... Cause they carry audio only and no power.

USB on the other hand should charge the device. Apple devices take about 2amps (newer devices) to charge successfully. If the USB isn't supplying enough then the device won't charge

Yeh it's just a Jack. I know it doesn't charge iPod. It I'd like something that does.. Preferably a head unit with a rear iPod connector .. I hate wires :/

You're not the only one.. My sony headunit only has a front aux... Work as a theatre technician so my car is the one place I don't want to see cables!

Thought about putting a USB & aux into your glovebox?

I was going to route the cable from a rear ipod port on a headunit through to the glove box.

not sure what else to do :/

Could always put a USB socket in your glovebox and charge it desperately, or add an accessory plug so you can charge anything you like. Then run an aux cable, can't really say where from
