Grinding Noise On Passenger Side Front

Hi all Iv got a problem with my breaks on my 1.6 focus lx... When I break to stop eg at a set of lights I get a real loud grinding noise coming from the passenger side front break and iam finding I'm getting a bit more vibration thro the brake pedal .. Any ideas what this could be ? Cheers Carl

My guess is break pads gone.

That's what I thought .. When I had a look the outside of the disc it hadn't discoloured from getting hot so must be the inside pad I guess

To check the pads properly you need to take the wheel off so you can see the inside pad better and in some cases remove the caliper as the pads can wear unevenly top to bottom.

Pads as said or a sticking caliper

You'll probably need a new set of Discs now too depending how long you have been driving it with this grinding noise.
