Fiesta Central Locking

Featured Replies

OK I have a Ford fiesta zetec 1.4 tdci 2004 and I bought it with a key with no fob. So I recently bought a new key with a fob. It's starting the car I just don't know how to programme it to work the central locking. Have tried one way where I turn from 0 to 2 on ignition 4 time then hear beep, but I hear no beep!! Some help!!!!!!

No beep would suggest you don't have a GEM with Remote locking, there are 4 versions of GEM, see below;

Four different variants are available depending on the equipment level of the vehicle:
l A - vehicles with manual unlocking
l B - vehicles with central locking
l C - vehicles with central locking and remote control
l D - vehicles with central/double locking, anti-theft warning system and remote control
Do a vehicle lookup on etis and check the minor features to see if "With Door Entry Remote Control Unit" was fitted.
