henwickltd
Hi lads, got a W reg Fiesta. As I drive the car the temperature gauge rises up in correlation to the amount I accelerate through. The car goes right towards the high end, but it doesn't appear to overheat. The water bubbles, that's all. When you rev the car in stationary, the temperature doesn't fluctuate at all. We've changed the head, checked the water pump, changed the radiator, took the thermostat off, changed the sensor. Any suggestions? :(
gaz6076
Could be a faulty gauge in the instrument pannel or perhaps some faulty wiring somewhere?
henwickltd
Could be a faulty gauge in the instrument pannel or perhaps some faulty wiring somewhere? Cheers mate, we'll give that a go. Really appreciate it. Just seems that the water boils up as well :S
henwickltd
Dad seems to think one of the pistons has cracked which apparently happens now and then. Changing the engine now :o
gaz6076
If the waters boiling then it does seem like you temp gauge is telling the truth. Good luck with the engine change
