    Tddi is 90bhp diesal engine used by ford for many years that use a mechanical fuel pump ran from the timming belt. I feel it is more relieable then the tdci. The tdci is electrical injected and early models of tdci seem to suffer problems with injectors and programming.

    you had 2 versions I think.

    Endura-DE 59 Bhp N/A

    Endura-DE 74 Bhp Turbo stock (intercooled late versions made 90bhp

    Endura-Di had 2 versons

    75bhp found in Mk.5 Ford Fiesta and Ford Transit Connect

    90bhp was redesigned with intercooler for the ford focus.

    There was used in mk4 escorts and other models using N/A versions. Later had turbocharged and intercooled versions.

    Then as technology improved tddi turned into the tdci.

    The mondeo tddi had different specs using more tuneable pump then focus

    Both tdci and tddi can be tuned very well tddi being 8v and tdci being 16v though but tddi suffer from excess smoke, fixed vane turbo and limited by fueling.
