    After 39 years of driving and always having to display a valid tax disc on the bottom left of my windscreens, I was able to legally remove it at lunchtime today. RIP Paper Tax Disc. Whooohooo.

    I'd reckon at least 90% of vehicles are still displaying their discs.

    It's hard to break a lifetime habit though. (Unless you never had one in the first place ;) )

    So weird. I was looking at cars on road home today checking for tax discs. Most as you said all had them

    Mine will be coming out, it's only been stuck in with a bit of tape since the 5th.

    Saw a car earlier with a note saying "tax in post" where the disc would be. Lol
