When my car has the auto lights on my spot lights don't come on is there anyway I can have them on

They are fog lights and its illegal to have them on if visibility is above 100m

I have fog lights but I can't have them on in automatic mode

No cos the car cant tell when its foggy and you will get pulled and 3 points for having them on when its not

It legal to have the headlights on at any time so that's all the auto lights control. Means you can be driving at night having forgotten to turn lights on and turns them on in tunnels and under trees etc

Better to fit DRL's for the day, these are legal and don't dazzle everyone

because you just can't, no one can, you have to turn your lights to ON first
