Abused Fiestas

Featured Replies

Was cringing earlier watching 'undriveables' on itv. The learners seem to be using fiestas. Hope none of you end up with one of them as a second hand lol.

Yeah I wouldn't really want one of them second hand! Them poor fiestas :(

Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Because everybody on here with a 1.0 and ST sits there never going over 3K or 40MPH? must have misread half the posts on here.

Lol when going in motorway ma 2nd gear goes to 50 lol

Disappointing, they do at least 60 in 2nd, more work required, sadly the ST doesn't do 60 it's about 55, so in a 2nd gear race the 1.0 wins.

Woo hoo! Haha

I learnt to drive in one, apparently the reason driving schools love them is they base stuff off the transit so it's super hard wearing. Apparently the clutch on the new fiesta will take insane amounts of abuse but never give up! My instructor has had 3 fiestas and never had a clutch go once! Even when people have no clue how to drive :P

it isn't really dumping and yanking the clutch that kills it, it's sitting on the clutch pedal in traffic and wearing it out that way that does it, no one on driving lessons does as the instructor watches over it.

Same as gearboxes, people using the gear stick as an armrest does them in pretty bad.

Mine does 70 in second :|

Revving the nuts off of your car and just letting go of the clutch isn't much good for it but not sure how often you'd do that as a learner  can't imagine stalling a car does it much good though! I'm teaching a girl to drive at the moment (private car park!) and in a 2 hour period she must have stalled my car about 10 times because she kept forgetting to put the clutch in when she stopped :|
