Hi, I've recently bought a 2004 Mk1 Focus zetec 1.8 petrol but I'm having trouble with It jerking when accelerating. It normally happens around the 1500 rev mark.

I've noticed it only happens when the car is warm so first thing in the morning the car will run fine for the first 10 or 15 miles but after that it will start jerking after having to slow down and re accelerate.

But when the revs are back up above 2000 the car will run fine again.

Has anyone had a similar issue or know what could be causing it?

    When was it last serviced and fuel filter last replaced?

    Maybe HT leads or Spark plugs? Maybe a good service as above.
