So tonight I changed my pollen filter and as i was doing it this fell out from under the trim.

Any ideas what it is? A quick Google and its some kind of Bluetooth phone adaptor for a blackberry. Could this mean my car has Bluetooth?



My guess is that your car was a fleet vehicle and instead of removing the hands free kit they just snipped any bits like the mic and hid the wires and tucked the rest under the dash ...

Ah makes sense. Will have to trace it and rip it out. See what else I find behind the dash :lol:

On a side note I don't think the cabin filter had been cahnged in a long time. Was covered in junk.

agree with Andy here, I suspect it will be an aftermarket part that is now useless.

Your guesses would be right. Ripped the whole unit out the other day and found a whole pile of wiring and control boxes no longer needed. Looks like the whole system was actually separate to the radio and only spliced in to the speaker wires.

Now need to replace the wires they spliced from the speaker connections on the radio :( least it's out though.
