Hid Fault!

Featured Replies

I have a set of 6k hid lights, they work fine for a few hours and never go out but sometimes if I hit a bump in the road the left light goes out, but a simple turn off for a min then back on they work! I have swapped the bulbs over to see if it's the battery packs, but they seem fine as it's now the right light that goes out which I presume means it's the bulb!

I was just wondering if anyone can help me with the problem as I don't really want to buy a new set if I can just sort the wires, but may have to!

Also if I'm stationary with lights on they stay on for as long as I turn them off! Thanks!

Sounds like one of the ballast boxes is on its way out. Doubt its the bulb, as normally they either work or don't......
