Figgis41
Hi all,,, im just wondering about the badges on my Ford Focus MK3,, the boot badge has got like a worn patch on it a bit like its being rubbed out so to speak. It still looks ok but when i use the boot i tend to look at it when i close it and then it bugs me.The car is on a 12 plate but still under warranty so can i get the badge changed under warranty and if not can i get the badge changed anyway ? Thanks all,,, Ian.
L666JER
Ford are replacing all badges for free (if they are worn) on any car under 10 years, iirc

TomsFocus
Ford are replacing all badges for free (if they are worn) on any car under 10 years, iircIf that's true, how would you go about getting them changed? And what criteria does 'worn' include? My rear badge has a lot of fracture lines in it, presumably stressed from lifting the tailgate. But a new one on eBay costs over £20! It really annoys me, but I'm too tight to pay £20 for a small lump of plastic lol.

Stoney871
All Ford dealers woyld have got the directive. It's in Ford's best interest to keep the badges pristine in the name of corporate advertising and brand recognition.
Figgis41
good morning chaps,,, ok i rang Evens Halshaw at 5 past 9 and actually got through,,, shocked.Talked to a fella as regarding the badge on the hatch back lid,, he asked the make, model and year then asked to discribe the dammage which he was fine with, then asked if i could fetch it in Monday as they have some badges in and a free slot on that day. Unfortunately i have a hospital appointment on that day so he has bunged me in on Thursday. So im pleased with the reaction by them as they dont usually want to know once you have driven off in the car, but i did hear there was a new manager there now,, well done Evans Halshaw. :)
