Low Beam Won't Turn On

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and it's great to see such lovely community.

I have a Ford Fiesta 2008, and today I tried playing with the headlight switch thing on the dash. It has three option, automatic, parking light, normal lights.

I tried switching to parking light and then back to automatic several times and noticed that when you do that it keeps the low beam on for about 1 minute. After I finished with it I was about to leave when I tried to start the car and to my surprise now the low beam won't turn on on the automatic setting, only parking light.

Have anyone had this problem and how did you fix? Or if you have any idea it's really appreciated.

Maybe it's not dark enough for the auto light sensor to bring the dip beam on, so it's just leaving the daytime running lights on.

Thank you MarksST for your reply, unfortunately from what I know and experienced this car has no auto light sensor.

Solution: The good thing is, that I went to the car, and behind the switch, where all the connection cords are, I pushed them so that they would plug in if the got disconnected and the light is now working correctly.
