New Fiesta 1L Ecoboost Titanium - Puddle Lamp Issue

Featured Replies

Hi, i have just purchased a fab fiesta 2013 titanium ecoboost. All is great apart from my puddle lamp on drivers side is not working, has anyone else had this issue. It is still under warranty, but i was wondering if i had to set it up somehow, no mention of them in the manual. Thanks .

I had same problem on Mondeo. When I took it out the ends of the wire into the connector block had completely disintegrated. Obv yours shouldn't with it being so new. Prob just a fried bulb a new one should do the trick. :-)

Ha ha. I was a bit pigged off with it like but was just one of the many problems I have encountered from buyin it just 10 weeks ago.

I know i only picked mine up yesterday, i know i can get it fixed but after doing a bit more research it seems that the whole unit needs replacing. I dont really need the puddle lights, but its annyoying when things dont work, and it is under warranty still for another 15 months

I just reconnected mine together and it worked fine. Don't see why the full unit would need replacing. But mine is 8 yrs old and a Mondeo might be different cause.

I have been looking at different forums and they have mostly said that the unit is sealed and you cannot get to change the bulb. Its a pain really, you think they would make it easier, unless they think the bulbs are going to last a very long time. I cant see the sense in it..

Welcome to the family!

My drivers side puddle light isn't working either. Passenger side works perfectly fine. Did you get this repaired under warranty? As my Titanium is less than 2 years old.

Bump!
