Focus Mk2 St Rims/damage Suspension?

hi all, so i have a friend that own a mk2 zetec, that put on some ST rims an damage his suspension, mine is the mk2 Titanium so was wondering it they would work on mine without damaging as i have the 3 suspension modes??? if so which setting would be best ?,

    The suspension modes just adjust the electric output to the wheel it doesnt alter the suspension in any way if he damaged his suspension then either they arent st rims or he didnt add the steering limiter which you need or have the alignment done
