Tomm45
Hi I own a mk6 escort 1.6 zetec silvertop, Although it's a cracking car I'm getting bored and could do with abit more pull and poke , Been looking into focus and mondeo engines , whats peoples opinions and experiences? Whats the 'easiest' swap that would be beneficial ? (without chop and fab) -1.8 vs 2l? ,Any other suggestions? -black top vs silver top? There could be a turbo involved at a later date if funds and the mrs allows, Sorry for the "noob" style question Any help would be greatly appreciated - Drill the wrong side of the air box and your engine will be swallowing stones , grit , dust , old ladies and cinqueto's. -don't fix it if it ain't broke -be the black sheep

The obvious "easy" choice is a rs2000 (mk5/6) engine
