Ford Focus 1.6 Ebony Obd2 Not Responding??

Featured Replies

Hi I have engine management light on even while driving have tried to read codes with 2 different obd2 scanners and none of them will connect with the car

I have tried the scanners on a different car and they work and read straight away

There seems to be an issue with the obd2 port maybe on car ?

What can I do to try and fix this

Thanks in advance

Im sure theres a fuse for this ide check the under bonnet and internal fuses

Yup, there's definitely one for the mk2 so I would expect the same for the mk1.

If all fuses check out try and get behind the actual socket in the dash in case any of the pins have backed out of the connector, and check the housing is secure in it's bracket.
