St Finance

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have decided on the car I want to get now and shall be getting the ST if I can get it cheap enough per month.

Currently from Ford the ST is £335.16 a month + £116.86 per month for insurance... basically a total of £452.02.

I would be looking to get this to a total of the £300 mark if possible?

Any one got any suggestions on how to get it cheaper etc obviously without putting a bigger deposit down...

Thanks,

If your insurance is £116.86 and you can't get that lower, there's no tricks it is what it is if you've shopped around.

Then you need the ST to be £183.14 which is very cheap. The only way I can think of getting an ST that cheap is on lease ?

Was this for the ST-3 model? And have you added any other additional options to the new car?

I'm sure that you would be able to get the monthly amount of £335.16 down. Was this what you were offered by a local dealer? And how long was this finance over?

I don't know the best place to get the ST from on Finance. This was just a quote from Ford's website online...

You can get it much cheaper than that from drive the deal and orange wheels etc, but to get it for £183.14 you'd need a high deposit or lease it.

Get a nearly new one with around 5k on the clock and you'll save yourself quite a bit. Might be better getting finance, I got out 9k for 5 years and am paying £186 a month and that's with just an average credit score. Would have been cheaper if I had a better one.

Can you tell me where you got yours from?

Thanks everyone for the input

You should get a quote from car wow which will bring the top line down. Then go to dealer see what deal they can put together for you. You might have to get a PCP deal rather than buying outright that should get you near your target figures

You can lease a brand new ST-3 for £180 for 2 years with Gateway2Lease

Do you own your current car so you can sell / part ex it? I sold my 09 Fiesta to We Buy Any Car a couple days before picking up the ST, and got a personal loan (£12k over 5 years) to cover the rest. It's costing me about £225 per month which I'm quite happy with. It's probably not the lowest per month cost I could have got, but I should save on interest in the long run compared to a PCP, plus I own the car.

Edit: oops double posted. Could someone delete this post please.
