And being replaced by a new "Black Edition" next week. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app

Ffoxy
By the way... My current 63 plate 1.0 123Bhp ZS is just a year old, treated like a baby and has only 3.5k genuine miles (3,500) miles on it! It's a minter and would make an awesome used buy from Bristol Street Motors in Stoke on Trent! Ffoxy
Have to say the Black Edition has impressed me so far. Useful reversing sensors with a display to show risk. And the trip from Stoke to Telford saw 54 mpg compared to the ZSE's 43 over the same trip, which was mostly B roads not motorway. The extra BHP is noticeable, makes the car a very nice drive on the revised gearbox ratios. Like! JoeZS19
Glad your enjoying the car. What colour did you go for? I wonder if a remap would get similar performance gains like the red/black edition has? Obviously the revised gear ratios help. Not sure if I could chop my Zs in and pay out for one the red/black editions though, think id still be wanting an st
Ffoxy
I chose the Black Edition. I tried the ST today before I left for home in my new car, and the ST is a great car. Particularly for the younger drivers I must say, more committed, harder ride, louder engine and exhaust note, more aggressive body kit and a very nice leather interior. As for the remap query, the 140 BHP is gained from map tweaks, turbo waste gate changes, valve timing changes and the gear ratio alterations enable best use of those changes. So I'd guess straight power output could be matched by a remap, but the beauty of the Black/Red Editions is the manner of the power delivery across the power band. Think I'll still look at the st next time though :)
