Creak From Footwell

I discovered yesterday when driving with the radio off for the first time in ages that my car seems to have developed a creak from the footwell somewhere. I can't pinpoint it yet and was just hoping someone else has had something similar and figured it out to save me the hassle!

It's most noticable when pulling away (even in a straight line so I'm ruling steering out) and when touching/releasing the gas. I don't think it can be the pedal though as when I'm parked with the engine off I can't make the noise happen at all no matter what I poke or press lol. It doesn't seem to happen when going over bumps or when braking, so it does seem to be related to the gas pedal.

Any ideas?
