Ford Fiesta Zetec 4500 Radio Won't Work

Hi there,

So I own a Ford Fiesta Zetec and have done for a few months. When I first bought the car I made sure that the previous owner provided my with a radio code for the 4500 radio.

For a few weeks the radio and cd player worked fine but now when I try to get the radio working, every channel just gives out white noise even when auto tuning and manually tuning. However, the cd player still works.

Can anyone give me an insight on what has gone wrong and how to rectify the mystery?

    If the radio was working fine and now it's not, it is quite possible that aerial cable has fallen out from behind the unit?

    Okay so I removed all the screws and have become stuck on the heater cable... How do I remove this because I've watched videos and it just pops off for most people but mine is moulded plastic and would break if I use force...

    All cables should unhook or pull out of the dash controls easily.

    Okay then guys, I've had the radio out at last and the aerial is still in the back so I'm not sure what's going on? I do get AM radio but not FM if that's any help?
