Having been ill this week and certainly not feeling up to cleaning the ST myself, I phoned Careys mobile car valeting who have come out this morning to wash and polish my ST using a special paste wax.

The ST was filthy (should have got some before shots) and has not been cleaned for weeks now. The relentless wind and rain made me think there wasn't much point in cleaning it. Lovely dry, sunny weather today and forecast to stay that way for at least several more days here.

He is almost finished and for a mere £35, the results are superb. I will post photo's shortly and a link to the valeters website (unless the mods say that such a link breaches rules of course).

I just finished hoovering and washing mine. That was enough. Hate this time of year. Gets so dirty. Front wheels took about same time as it took for rest of car :(

I agree that cars get dirty more quickly at this time of year but we can't win really. In the summer, if/when we get a good run of warm dry weather, one drive down the motorway or any fast road really and you can't see through the windscreen for dead flies!

The front of the car is also splattered with their guts. You would think they would choose better places to hang out really. Oh, and you need napalm to fetch them off.

The grill is quite big on the 7.5, so could turn it into one of those fly zappers. It could double up as part of the alarm system too and zap anyone that comes within an inch of the car. :)
