Hi,

Well the day finally came Wednesday 22nd October I picked the car up and well I knew I was going to love it from driving my dads ST but my jaw aches already from smiling for the last 4 days its by far going to be a fantastic car I have already had 2 people come up to me and say your car is awesome and looks smart one guy saying he was thinking of buying one and I said to him I have only had it a few days and I know its going to be the best money I have ever spent! :D

Here are a few pictures from the compound to picking it up to changing few bits so far..........

So this is the first picture I got and first glimpse I got thanks to my dad popping by on his way home from work.

Thought I would get a photo of this as I wouldn't see it again!

This was the last time I saw it in the dealer compound before I picked it up

And the BIG day very sad to see the 197 go as it was an awesome car. But Glad I have the ST now!!

Here is a shot of the crystal visions fitted which are by far the best match colour output and also a very good night time driving bulb also put some Osram Nightbreakers in the High beam and silver indicators all round.

And also put some CREE number plate lights in too.

More to follow just sent my retention off for my private plate to go on so couple weeks for that and then i think its time to properly enjoy this awesome car.......!

Will also post some pics of mine and my dads on driveway together its looking fantastic to say the least best driveway in Yorkshire :D

Well done and welcome to ST land. I dare say you will conclude the ST is easier to drive quickly than the 197 thanks to the turbo. I overtook a pretty long HGV up a hill the other day. It was clear but I could see a van coming from a good distance. 4th gear at 40mph was ample to start the overtake and it delivered swift and smooth power and no let up once into 5th. :)

Oh yeah 100% right on that I have made the right choice but the 197 is some what of a fantastic car and on track they are very quick

Cleaning is all part of the fun! My ZS arrives Monday, there's a good chance I'll get cleaned before anything else :P Full protection detail so my massive drive afterwards won't make a giant mess :D

Did you PX the 197? seem to have done well with their money over the years those, quality little car.

Black was on my list but had black cars before and always thorght they show scratches/marks too easily, and never had a white one before this.

This white never shows the marks, it's brilliant.

LOL and we have just one Panther black owner on here?

I was a little disappointed with the white as i could see faint scratched swirl marks on my bonnet. Didn't really expect that from a new car but i did get it Super-guarded so can't work out if it was a bad valet job or me having too higher expectations and its just on the super guard-layer.

Also found an imperfection on my bonnet that they photographed and going to get back to me if ford are willing to respray it.

You see I see more black than anything where I live just depends where you live I guess but im glad I choose white really happy with it :)

And yeah I did PX the clio really sad to see it go was such a great car handling you can't picture and pretty fast too
