Tyre Pressure

Featured Replies

I know I am probably missing the obvious here, but please can someone tell me the correct tyre pressure for a June 2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Titanium with 17 inch alloy wheels?

I find the manual rather confusing. It also says the tyre pressure is on a label on the side of the driver's door, but I cannot find that information (although I have found the label!)

I've looked online and sites like Kwik-Fit give the tyre pressure for 16 inch wheels (which would have been standard) even when I type in the registration number.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks. :-)

The lable is on the front passenger door

Your front is 32 psi and rear 26 psi

Willy can you explain the label?

Where are you getting the rear psi from?

OK on the left is your tyre size (R17) Front Pressure with 1 - 3 passengers = 32 PSI / 4 - 5 Passengers = 35 PS I

REAR wheels 1 - 3 Passengers = 26 PSI / 4 - 5 Passengers = 41 PSI

If your carrying loads of weight the the higher pressures should apply

Hope this helps ;)

Got it thanks to your arrows!

Great answer Willy :) really informative.

Thank you so much- very clear answer. I'd have needed the arrows too!!! My manual says the information is to be found on the drivers' door, so I don't feel too bad now I know it's on the passenger side! I am guessing this is because of where it was built. Anyway, thank you for your help :-)
