STEADS Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 For all who have advisories on leaking power steering from the pipe union to the pump you don't need a new union or pipe at fords extusionate prices all you have to do to replace the nylon washer is go to B+Q or any plumbing shop an buy a pack of nylon tap washers for around 1.20 for 3 you will have to file the inner out a tad to get it to fit over the union but once on it will seal no problem did my mates this morning worked a treat . STEADS Posted November 27, 2014 Author Share Posted November 27, 2014 Haven't got photos of the actual fix which by the way is still holding strong but I will dig out the union and post some pics of what I mean save people spending out on a new pipe and union costing in the region of 175 when 1.20 fox will do the same job .
