MattDRX
Depends, Mk7 on regular Fiestas but ZS with trim packs and the ST look far better, not a fan of the chrome grill at all, plus some of them the wheels are just too small, plus the original ones had the red dash lights and computer light which imo is better than the mangey blue

The mk7.5 is just OTT with that front grill
alexp999
The grille on the MK7.5 is a bit disproportionally big imo. The MK7.5 is a bit too facelift, it feels like the MK7 with its nose chopped off. That said the 1.0 ecoboost is so much better than the old petrols and would be enough for me to look past the slightly odd nose.

Rossbclarke123
Mk7.5 is a lot better Imo, mrs had one of each, the mk 7.5 has a more premium feel interior, punchy engine choices, equipment more updated and better colour choice/spec range! CharlieFarlie
The grille on the 7.5 is just so ugly.. My wife's Mk7 is due an upgrade soon and it wont be a 7.5 as in both our opinions the front end is so ugly. Same with my wee van which is a sport van I will be looking father afield when my van hits the 120.000 mile mark as there is no way I will be buying another later sport van.. As a complete aside in my trade where the Transit was king its loosing quite some amount of sales due to its woeful styling ! Sorry Mr Ford but the ball has well and truly been dropped when it comes to front end styling !
jace1969
I like the 7.5 but the 2 main things i aint 100% on is the grill, nice but to big and as someone said, chopped off. I think on some models the cabin is too black like clock surround and stuff,no break in the color but thats me. Would still have one lol.... but only just had mine. MICK GREBO
Am rather pleased with our 7.5 ZS (red). Only had it two weeks but am most impressed as its a great improvement on my previous ZS which i had for 9yrs. Yes the grille is rather large but i have fitted s/steel number plate back plates and a S badge and it makes the front look so much better. Also at the rear i have added the badges Zetec S. and of course the s/steel plate back plate. Find the 1ltr engine just great and a vast improvement on fuel consumption to my old 1.6. Mick G. I like the red/pink hues of BMW interiors. But the fiesta doesn't pull it off and the blue looks nicer to me. What I can say for the mk7 though is the petrol variants are bulletproof. Sigma engines don't ever want to die really.
Jeff4155
Can I have the insides of the MK7.5 with the externals of the MK7??? MK7.25?
chrisroberson99
I'd like that too!
The Dark Knight
Always liked the look of the Mk7.5 even before I owned one. Big improvement to me and I like the looks, even on the non-sporty models. Ran a 1.0 ZS for 12 months then changed for an ST-2. Great engines and I really like the subtle LED lights inside, especially the 2 that shine down onto the gear lever. The back lit ST plates on the door sills are superb too. Paramanic
See I like both but prefers mk7.5 A already had a mk6.5 n didn't need to rush into a new car to be honest when mk7 came out a liked it but not enough to want it (dad had one when it just came out) a don't like the red dial instruments (my favourite colour is blue lol) or the front imho it looked too peaceful where the mk7.5 looks aggressive I think the only thing I don't like in the mk7.5 was the chrome grill that's why I got Zs grill as soon as I got the car but on the plus it has a few things a needed for my work like a light in the rear and the armrest (stored a lot of stuff I need at work) but the thing I love most is the EcoBoost engine I'm almost matching mpg as ma mates 1.6tdci with mine has added performance but it's just my own opinion everyone's is different

golty
Had a go in a 7 when I was buying a car, don't think they feel as 'premium' as the 7.5's and I think the 7's with the dress up kit look really fat and ugly compared to the 7.5s
-Sven
My first car was a mk7 and what I really miss about it, is it's round design. If it is just a little dropped it looks absolutely beautiful and when I see the old pictures of it I also think it looks kind of cute My mk7.5 ST looks just totally aggressive. But I also really like the design of the normal mk7.5 it's a fresh design especially with the candy blue or this green-yellow paintjob
afrocleland
I quite like the "chopped off" look of the 7.5. I also might be the only one who likes the Aston Martin looking grille! I do appreciate how the 7.5 "sports" models have a distinctive difference other than the kit/spoiler. Jeff4155
I think it all depends on the model you choose, if you compare a MK7 high spec car with a low spec MK7.5, the chances are good the MK7 will win, personally for me the price won me over with the High Spec MK 7 in my budget with 30k km on the clock still cheaper than the lowest MK 7.5 new out of the box, like I said before, the only way I'll trade up is if its a ST model
Toneriko
My family likes to think of the Mk7.5 as "the hatchback Aston (Martin) would have made" - so Mk7.5 all the way! :D
