White Smoke

hi,

I have a 58 plate fiesta with the 1.4 tdci engine.

after start up or idling for a few minute i get white smoke out the exhaust and it look to be losing 1/4 mark on the dip stick per 1000 miles.

any suggestions

    White smoke means incomplete combustion could be leaking injector seals if your burning oil as well.

    Does it smell oily or is it water vapour?

    Does sound like the injector seals are leaking a common problem on the 1.4. £25 for the parts from Ford and a few hours labour if you fancy DIY.
