Milltek Exhaust Help/advice

Featured Replies

I've just brought a cat-back milltek system for my s1600.

Can I just buy a decat pipe and fit it straight to the existing manifold or do I need the 4-2-1 manifold aswell?

Cheers Everyone

I think you need the 4-2-1 manifold, but not a 100%

The cat is attached to the manifold so you will need the 4-2-1 as it's the same as the metal edition

Cheers guys! I thought I might have too.

For just the cat back system am I correct in saying its a cut and shut job to fit?

You have to cut the standard exhaust to get out but the milltek is in 3 pieces so it will fit no problem

How annoying. I've got a two piece system so back box and an "s" bend pipe.

Will upload a picture later after work

Might be 2 can't remember but it won't need cut

That's weird cause the one I have, there isn't a flange until it's at the end of the cat which is of the manifold, so it has to be cut to fit, unless I've been told this exhaust will fit and it doesn't
