My new ST3 is ready to pick up today......trouble is they gave me a provisional date of December 21st & I haven't put my private plate on retention yet, so I've got to sit back & wait knowing my new car is at the dealers, while I wait God knows how long for the V5 for my Zetec S to get back from the DVLA!!

Has anyone else ever had their delivery date brought forward by over a month?

    I might take advantage of the car being stuck at the dealers for a while, so I'm thinkiing of having the mountune upgrade fitted while it's there.

    Those of you with the upgrade, was it worth it?

    DVLA seem quite quick at the moment. Posted off forms to put my private plate on a Monday and had the V5 on Saturday.

    My V5 arrived today, 8 days after posting so not as bad as I feared.

    As I can't pick the car up till Monday, I've decided to have the mountune upgrade carried out while I'm waiting. So roll on Monday & 212bhp

    Would still like to hear from anyone that's had the upgrade.
