Clutch Master Cylinder Rod Snapped

Hi, I have read a few posts about how the clutch master cylinder rod comes off the clutch pedal but not seen any about options if it snaps. Could someone tell me if it's possible to glue the plastic part back together with some epoxy glue and would it hold.

RAC person told me it would cost me about £150 to replace the part, but don't really want to spend that for a little piece of plastic

    This happened on my one at a busy roundabout. Got recovered home, went to eurocarparts, picked up a clutch master cylinder for around £15-20 then got a mobile mechanic to fit the part. Took him under an hour!

    All in for under 60quid! When you get it replaced either make sure you've clipped it securely with a butterfly clip of drill through the metal where the rod connects to with the rod in place and put a split pin through it, won't happen again :)
