Fiesta 2005/2006 Facelift

Featured Replies

Hiya guys, looking to get my first car and thinking the Ford Fiestas look like a great place to start.

Was looking at a budge of between £1500 up to maybe a little over £2000.

I was interested in the 2005/2006 facelift versions (I say 2005/2006 because depending on the site I go to they state different years).

Now correct me if I'm wrong but most recomendations seems to advice going for the newer facelift editions. However I'm consfused the mad on how to spot them if the ad doesn't specifically state it's a facelift edition.

Also on a side not, I understand there are many Fiesta versions from that time and was wondering if anyone could kindly steer me ;) on an approperiate route :D

Thanks guys and girls

Main deficiency are the style/shape of headlights and the dashboard is differnt. Not going to be much difference between the 2, face lifts will cost more as they are newer.

I'd go for a facelift as I prefer the looks.

Firstly thank you for the reply. I must be really blind because I'm struggling to see clear differences between the front lights of the two cars. However it seems as though the pre-facelift models have a frosting around the glass where as the facelift models are all clear glass. Would that be correct?

I was looking at the following car in autotrader. Once again I know very little to nothing about cars but looked ok...

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201410208361088/sort/default/radius/40/price-from/1500/quantity-of-doors/5/make/ford/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/page/1/quicksearch/true/maximum-mileage/up_to_80000_miles/usedcars/maximum-age/up_to_9_years_old/postcode/n153jb/model/fiesta/price-to/2000?logcode=p

Looks ok, don't know why it says incorrect mileage though.

That car is a facelift, the headlights have 3 circular lights behind a clear lens the pre face lift don't.
